The Age of Sayyidina Mahdi Has Begun!

The Age of Sayyidina Mahdi Has Begun!
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
6 December 2010       Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Private Residence after Maghrib
Islamic New Year, 1st Muharram 1432

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Inshaa-Allah anta bi-alf khayr kulli `am wa antum bi-khayr. May Allah (swt) make it many, many hundreds of years to be from Ummat an-Nabi (s)!

Alhamdulillah, this time we left America on 22 November, we visited Singapore and Australia, and now we are coming to Malaysia. I, but I don't like to say "I;" awliyaullah hate for someone to say "I," but they sometimes use the plural, "we." "I" indicates selfishness and is more egoistic, while "we" means all of us together, and also it has many other meanings. When you say "we" it means you are not by yourself; you are not claiming that you are something without those who are with you. When you say "I" it means you are your own one who can decide and do things without help from anyone. That level is only for Allah (swt).

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
Iyyaaka na`budu.
You alone we worship. (1:5)

Shaykh Hisham Kabbani | Official Website

We are worshipping You, yaa Allah! kaf (in iyyaaka) goes to You; we only worship One. Saying "we" is better adab, more perfection. It means you are nothing without the ones who are supporting you, and of course we are all supported, the level of which differs from one to another. Some might be supported by parents, brothers, friends, and others may be supported by awliyaullah. From the lower, first level of awliyaullah to the highest level of awliyaullah, it differs and changes. And there are others that might be directly supported by the one who is above every wali, the sultan al-awliya, who is the ghawth, along with his the five qutbs, "al-Aqtaab al-Khamsa." They directly refer their matters to him and he refers the matters of the five aqtaab, together with 124,000 walis, to the Prophet (s).

We are speaking what Mawlana is sending. We have come to this country for 23 years and alhamdulillah, people are coming and going, listening, happy. Some of them disappeared and new ones came, since it is always a moving situation. But all of them, those who left and those who are coming new, are supported by awliyaullah, but through a chain. It is a pyramid you cannot jump over; there is no jumping the stairs or the ladder. This is in the way of sainthood, or in the way of worshipness, that we have to go from one level to another.

 وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ
wa fawqa kulli dhi `ilmin `aleem.
Above every knower is a (higher) knower. (12:76)

Above everyone, there's another one, higher. So that will never end; it goes all the way like that through all human beings. But when you zoom in, it goes to 124,000 walis because they are the ones who are responsible for all humanity. There are six, seven, or eight billion people living, and they are all supported. One wali might support a hundred thousand, and another might support one million. But when you zoom in, there are 124,000 walis in which all of them are under the five qutbs. And the aqtab have their helpers: Nujaba, Budala, Nuqaba, Awtad, Akhyar. These five different groups of awliyaa take their orders from the aqtab. The aqtab give orders to the awliyaa, and from there it goes to everyone. These five qutbs take their orders and refer to the Ghawth, Sultanu 'l-Awliya, who refers to Prophet (s).

In history, many awliyaullah have been called "Sultanu 'l-Awliya," the Ghawth; some of them in their lifetimes and some after they left dunya. Most have not been called "al-ghawth" in their lifetime; only a very few like Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani (r) and Shah Naqshband (q). In these two tariqas they were called "ghawth" and they sent that secret all the way down to the current khalifah of this time. Today, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, may Allah give him long life, carries not only two tariqas, Naqshbandiyya and Qadiriyya, not only six tariqahs, including Mawlawiyya, Muridiyya and Kubrawiyya, but he carries all 41 tariqas! When you zoom in, you find that it goes all the way into the hand of someone who is very close to the Prophet (s) in his sincerity and his worship, which makes him carry that title, "Sultan al-Awliya." And I'm speaking through a spiritual aspect. We already know how to speak of Shari`ah, fiqh, hadith and tafseer, but what we are speaking about are little drops from the reality of Maqam al-Ihsaan.

Awliyaullah know each other and their limits, and they don't transgress their limits because they know it cannot be. Those who transgress their limits are what we call al-mutamashikheen, "pseudo-shaykhs." I will quote you a story that has been mentioned in different ways by Imam al-Ghazali, by Muhyiddeen ibn `Arabi, Imam Razi and many others. It is a very simple principle that we are far from understanding today, and some are making fitnah, confusion, between mureeds, from those who are considering themselves to be so close to Sultan al-Awliya, close to awliyaullah or close to al-aqtaab, the five qutbs. It is making things more difficult and we are seeing people deviating from the right way.

First of all, I would like to say that there is no tariqah without Shari`ah. You have to know it and you have to understand it. Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani (r) said, "If you see a shaykh flying in the air and saying something while flying in the air, then say that is from Shaytan," because awliyaullah don't come against Shari`ah. They know their limits, they don't transgress their limits. He said, "A servant of Allah (swt), inna al-`abd yatee bi sayyiaatin ka amthalil-jibal, might commit too many sins, like mountains." Today you can build a mountain of mud, as an erupted volcano throwing ashes into the atmosphere and closing all the European airports. Even if you come with a whole mountain, or that volcano's ashes, of sins, but your tongue is on dhikrullah, faqad lisaanak hamadahaa bi dhikrullah. He says that because of the dhikrullah he is doing, remembering "Allah, Allah", or saying, laa ilaaha illa-Llah, or Asma'ullah al-Husna, he will find this mountain of sin has been completely demolished. That is to show how Shari`ah is important!

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا
udhkuroo 'Llaha dhikran katheeran.
Remember Allah with much remembrance. (33:41)

Allah (swt) is ordering that when you mention Allah very much, when you follow this, Allah will take away sins.

Then he said, "Yaa waladee, O my son! You must know that the custom of the shaykhs of Naqshbandiyya and other tariqas, for all this time, yulaqinoon al-istighfaar `ala lisaan al-mureedeen, is to teach the mureeds how to do istighfaar, as that will destroy sins, and the importance of praising Prophet (s), doing salawaat `ala an-nabi."

Listen well, both those on the Internet and those sitting here. I am not sitting here as usual, joking and playing. No, it is a serious matter today. It is not like when I was in Australia; it was different there. I am speaking in full capacity as shaykh and khalifah of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Mawlana gave me that authority and no one can take it; it is coming from Grandshaykh (q) and from the Prophet (s)! He said that they gave me ijazah to do dhikr and sallat ala an-nabi, and I got that ijazah from many shaykhs beside the Naqshbandiyya. And he used to say, always he used to tell us, "Write on papers and send to us followers to be mujtahideen, to have zeal or be enthusiastic, to manage li idaarah. This word is very important, li idaarat, to manage and to administrate at-Tariqat an-Naqshbandiyya, the Naqshbandi Sufi order, to administrate it.

What is meant by "administration and managing?" If you are CEO of a company, what do you do? Do you throw out a talk and then go, or do you manage situations one-by-one? When you are given a secret and a real title by the Prophet (s), and my title came from the Prophet (s), and from Grandshaykh (q) directly, and from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim! I got my title and Shaykh Adnan got his names from Grandshaykh (q), and Shaykh Mehmet got his names from his father. We are not playing! They have to know when it is jadd, serious, and there are no games. So to manage and administrate, you have to manage according to the Preserved Tablets. It is not like a company. You have to know everyone sitting in front of you, and even those not sitting in front of you but who are following you. You have to look at them day and night and inspire them to the Right Path.

Tariqah is not playing golf or basketball or cricket or volleyball; tariqah is to be fully aware in every moment, of yourself and the rest for whom you are responsible. Don't think there is no one responsible for you; there is responsibility falling on those whom you don't know, those who take care of you. He said, "You have to be enthusiastic to manage and run the affairs of the tariqat correctly. wa khassatan lama annahu lam yakun ijazah tammah, "Especially when there was not one among us, in our sainthood, who has an ijazah tammah," a full and complete certificate, permission, or authority. "Full" means that it covers 360 degrees, not just running dhikr and giving suhbah. That is not important, even though Shah Bahauddin Naqshband (q) said, "Our way is companionship and to give advice, and the best is in the group." That is not the meaning. Suhbah means, "I am accompanying you from the Day of Promises until we take you to the presence of the Prophet (s) on the Day of Judgment." That is the meaning of the way of companionship, when you enter Paradise at the level of, and with those who are blessed to be with prophets and siddiqeen and martyrs and saaliheen!

Listen well! This is not a game; not playing! Mawlana Shaykh said, man la lahu al-ijaza fee talqeen at-tariqah, "The only one who can have full authority to put talqeen on your tongue." This means not to teach you through the ears, but to instill the teaching on your tongue, involuntarily. That means, to make your tongue dhakir day and night without you knowing or feeling it. And he said, "This is very, very rare in our tariqah, illa an-nadir fee an-nadir, 'except for the rarest of the rare.'" There is rare, but "rarest of the rare" is very, very unusual; there are few. So misunderstanding that, and misunderstanding the real, perfect ijazah that the shaykh gives, will make you fall into a problem. Inna dhalika yakoonu sababan li mani`in naas `an wukoo`ihim fee shabakatil-mutamashikheen wa quyoodihim. If you have not been given the right ijazah, the perfect ijazah, but given only a superficial ijazah like, "Go and do dhikr," or, "Go, here is a letter if you want it," that will make you be mutamshikheen, pseudo-shaykhs. Those who are carrying such ijazah are pseudo-shaykhs.

People today are following pseudo-shaykhs, everywhere, since they didn't reach the level of perfect ijazah. And he said that it is rare to get real ijazah, that it is not by paper. Paper is for what? To show off? "O, I have ijazah from my shaykh!" No, you don't need the paper! If you need ijazah, hide yourself. Grandshaykh, when his shaykh, Shaykh Sharafuddin (q) passed away, took his ijazah, tore it up and threw it in the river, saying, "I don't want anyone to know that I am a shaykh, that I am something." He didn't say, "I have ijazah!" Mawlana Shaykh Nazim was the same way. Those who are calling Cyprus for ijazah, shame on them! You can get that for $100; you can find villagers on the road who can get you hundreds of these ijazahs. Allahu Akbar! So we have to be very careful in understanding the difference.

First of all, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim is sending his salaams to you today. We spoke to him from 6:30 to 7:00 pm; he sent salaams and said, "Happy New Year." Hajjah was on the speaker phone, and he said to me, "Hisham, I want you to continue what you are doing. You are my ambassador. You are Qutb al-Mutasarrif."

What is the meaning of "Qutb al-Mutasarrif?" A simple clarification is that I am not making that claim. He gave that and it is an honor; I never asked for it. He said, "You are Qutb al-Mutasarrif," and when he says something he gives its power with it. You will not only take something by hearing; that is not a real gift or grant. If I say, "I am giving you this frame," but I don't give it, then what is the benefit? No, when I say, "I'm giving you this frame," it means you must take it and go, carry it. So when he said, "I'm giving you! You are Qutb al-Mutasarrif," it's finished and that is real. There are five qutbs: Qutb, Qutb al-Bilaad, Qutb al-Aqtaab, Qutb al-Irshaad, Qutb al-Mutasarrif, and each has his own duties to perform and is responsible in front of Sultan al-Awliya (q) and Prophet (s).

To describe "Qutb al-Mutasarrif," if there is a university with 20,000 students, who is overlooking the students' affairs? There are many administrative offices, but on top of that there is one who decides what is going to happen. The decision is for the rector or the president of the university. Even if the university has five thousand or one million students, everything has to report to the rector or president of the university, who has to know every simple issue. That is an example. Qutb al-Mutasarrif is not like that. He is someone who works with the power and authority of the one who gave it, not his own power and authority. When he claims his own power and authority, it is nothing. But he works with the power of the one who authorized him. This means, he can take from that power, naseebuhu, of the Sultanu 'l-Awliya. Qutb al-Mutasarrif  takes his share of power in order to fulfill his responsibilities.

Nothing moves in this world without Qutb al-Mutasarrif knowing about it! If there is anything moving in this universe, the Qutb al-Mutasarrif has to know about it. If he doesn't approve, it doesn't move; both living and non-living species. That is a grant to that qutb, and the other four have different duties and are of their own level and character. The others can speak on their own; I am not speaking on that, but I am speaking about what Mawlana Shaykh Nazim gave to me, and I am giving this like a small sample of perfume on his hand, like one drop. Qutb al-Mutasarrif, no one will receive a bite without his permission and will not take one drink of water without his permission. This is not because of his own self, but because he is using the power that is being passed to him, like a river or a pipe moving. That one doesn't need written ijazah; the ijazah is through the heart from the one who has authority and the one who gave it!

He said, "Tell them--those on the Internet, those who are here, and who are not here--this year is a heavy year. I want all of them to change their turbans to black turbans; not red, green, or white, but they have to be black turbans. The age of Mahdi (a) began today. On Tuesday that is appearing, so say for them to make that niyyah, to be ready for it." The Prophet (s) said, idhaa zhaharat ruyyaat as-sooud min khurasaan fa'bshir bi 'l-mahdi, "When the black flags and black turbans come from the east, that is good tidings for the coming of Mahdi (a), that he will appear."

And Mawlana Shaykh said, "You are responsible for all of them, whether they are knowing it or not. You are my diplomat. I am very happy with what you are achieving, with what you are doing, and you are granted Maqam ul-Irshad by Grandshaykh (q) and the Prophet (s). You are granted the name "Qutb al-Mutasarrif." Among awliyaullah, you are known as, "Rijaal al-Ishraaqiyoon," "Madad al-Haqq," "Zayn al-`Abideen," and "Hujjatullah al-Mukhlis." And other than the names that Grandshaykh (q) has given to me in his time, from among khulafah of Mahdi (s), are "`Alaa-immal Mudabbiroon" and "Rijaal az-Zaakiroon." And there are other names, which I will not expose here, but I mentioned them in Singapore, so you can go back on the Internet and check them.

O Muslims, O Mu'mineen! We are not claiming anything. As Mawlana Shaykh said many times, "I am nothing, I'm zero, but I have a button, and if I push it with my finger, then I am something at that time." That's how I am: if Mawlana pushes it, I am something at that time. Know your limits and do not transgress. This is for everyone to know, that we are coming to a new era with full authority from Mawlana Shaykh. I am speaking on my behalf; Shaykh Adnan can speak on his own behalf, or Shaykh Mehmet can speak on his own behalf. With full authority, I am coming and moving more and more. With that authority, there are going to be a lot of conversions into Islam these coming years. That is going to happen through dreams, realities, spirituality, heavenly means and angelic power that we can use by permission of Mawlana Shaykh (q) and Prophet (s), to inspire people in their hearts to come to Islam. Islam is the religion that Allah (swt) wants for His servants:

إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللّهِ الإِسْلاَمُ
inna ad-deena `inda 'Llahi l-islaam.
Indeed, the religion near Allah is Islam. (3:19)

There is nothing other than the full Shari`ah of Prophet (s), of Ahlu ’l-Sunnah wa ’l-Jama`ah. That Shari`ah showed us discipline and hierarchy in the level of sainthood. Allah (swt) said:

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
`ala awliyaullahi laa khawfan `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.
Behold! Verily on the friends of God there is no fear, nor shall they grieve. (10:62)
Allah's saints will have nothing to fear and will not be sad. We are going through a time in which we are not going to fear anything; we are not going to be sad, because heavenly support is coming. We are peaceful people who don't use any kind of domestic or worldly weapons; our way is through hearts to hearts. It is inspirations to hearts that will make people ready to say, Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasoolullah. My job, my authority from my shaykh, is to make people say, Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasoolullah through their hearts. Whoever has said it even one time in his life with belief will enter Paradise. And we will explain this next time.

Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq. As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.

(Qasa'id begins)
(After qasida)

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

I would like to add that we have to be very careful. Awliyaullah have been dressed with lots of mercy from one to another, starting from the first level of awliyaa, all the way up to the highest. Of course awliyaullah will forgive, but Mawlana said to people, and it is on tape and he is fully aware of what he is saying, "I'm warning you! Don't make Shaykh Hisham angry, because if he gets angry, I will not interfere to save that person on the Day of Judgment when Shaykh Hisham will be standing in front of Prophet (s) complaining about these people who are standing against him!" I'm warning you today on the Internet: don't try to stand in my face or in my way, because the train has to keep moving, the train's engine has to move and the wagon must follow! If you change the path of the train, the train might kill you. Don't ever try to stand in front of that engine! That engine (wali) has majestic power and his names among awliyaullah, as mentioned before, such as "Madad al-Haqq," which means he's receiving heavenly powers; and "Hujjatullah al-Mukhlis, the proof that Allah (swt) has given sincerity into his heart.

So that's is a grant from them. I'm not that sincere, but if they want to make me sincere, then yes, I'm sincere; if they want me to have power, then yes, I have power; if they want me to give proof, I can give proof. It's in their hands. But I have already been granted that power and authority; you must know. And I don't mind, whoever comes is welcome, whoever doesn't come is still welcome. We are not against anyone; we love everyone, but don't try to backbite and spread fitnah, confusion and rumors. We don't like divisions; we like unity.

Allah (swt) said in the Holy Qur'an

وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ
w `atasimoo bihabli l-lahi jamee`an wa laa tafarraqoo.
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided. (3:103)

Don't separate the ummah! Don't separate the Muslims! Don't separate the followers of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim! Keep loving everyone; open your hearts and step on your egos. This is an ego problem that you don't show up, you don't come, or you say something and they say something else. Let us leave this behind.

Tomorrow is the New Year, 1432 AH. There is no more time left. Mawlana has declared for everyone to put on black turbans. If you can't do it within these two or three days, nevermind, but the intention must be there. May Allah (swt) forgive us. As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh. I am renewing the baya` for everyone. Ladies can put their hands on the shoulder of Hajjah Naziha. Don't push, sit on the floor, and put your hands on the shoulders of each other. This baya` is from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and from him to Prophet (s). And you must know that Sayyidina al-Hazzaz, the king of jinns have ordered all jinns to renew their baya` today. And we are renewing the baya` of everyone, including jinns to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Prophet (s) (Mawlana Shaykh Hisham gives baya` for everyone, du`a

Fatihah.

Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, yaa Rahmatan lil-`Alameen. Yaa Shafee` al-Mudhnibeen, yaa Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, yaa Sayyidee, yaa Shaykh`AbdAllah al-Fa`iz ad-Daghestani, Sultan al-Awliya! We are renewing our baya` for the night of the Arabic New Year, 1432 Hijrah. With that baya` that is going to you, yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, yaa Rahmatan lil-`Alameen, through our shaykh and grandshaykh, present us in front of Allah (swt) clean from all sins! May Allah forgive us and take away all difficulties, yaa Sayyidee, and direct us to the Right Path, and resurrect us with you on the Day of Judgment, and be with you in Paradise!

Wa man yuti`illaha wa 'r-rasoola fa'oolaa'ika ma` Lladheena ana`ma 'Llahu `alayhim mina 'n-nabiyyeen wa 's-siddiqeen wa 'sh-shuhaada'i wa 's-saaliheen wa hasuna ulaaika rafeeqaa.
All who obey God and the Messenger are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of God, of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the righteous (who do good). Ah! what a beautiful fellowship! (4:69)

And may Allah grant all of us long life to see Sayyidina Mahdi (a), and to be with Sayyidina `Isa (a), and may He grant shifa`a, cure, to every sick person. Yaa Rabbi, yaa Allah!  (du`a)

Fatihah.

Before I finish I would like to say that Grandshaykh (q), may Allah bless his soul, mentioned to Hajjah Naziha, because she was raised from five years old in his house, and he mentioned to me after we got married, "According to the Preserved Tablets, your marriage is a right marriage; it's on the Preserved Tablets. She is a murshidah for ladies. She has that authority from me and from Prophet (s) that she will give irshaad, guidance, and dhikr for ladies." She inherited that secret from her mother. And I will add, that secret is also passing to my daughter, Sajeda, from her grandmother she is carrying that secret. That's why from childhood, she's been memorizing Qur'an and qasaaid'. May Allah make every girl and boy like that.

Today is Monday. Tuesday is the first day of Muharram. May Allah (swt) make every day like that, so all these years are bringing happiness to all of you! Enough. Everyone can go and eat now, ladies first. Bismillah, ladies. We are wishing you a Happy New Hijrah and may Allah (swt) bring us close to Prophet (s) and Grandshaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa`iz ad-Daghestani (q). May Allah (swt) give us health and wealth and take away all our difficulties.

Fatihah.
